How we’ll work together

1. PLAN & PREP

We’ll start with a conversation – you’ll start by booking a call with me or filling out my contact form to tell me what you’re after, and I’ll ask questions to get a feel for your needs, goals, and visual style. From there, we’ll collaborate on a plan and mood board to guide the shoot – sometimes over several conversations, especially for bigger projects.

2. SHOOT DAY

Whether we’re working in a studio, on location, or somewhere in between, I aim to create a calm, collaborative environment where you feel comfortable and in control of how you're represented.

3. EDIT & REFINE

I carefully select and edit the strongest images, making thoughtful adjustments to tone, colour, and composition. No presets, heavy filters or trends – just clean, polished edits that fit the vibe of your shoot.

4. FINAL DELIVERY

You’ll receive a beautifully curated online gallery with high-resolution images ready to download, share, or print. Depending on what you’re wanting your images for, we might discuss print vs. digitally optimised images.

 FAQs

  • To confirm your shoot, I ask for a non-refundable 20% deposit with a minimum deposit of $180. The remainder is due before I deliver your final gallery. Once the deposit’s in, your date is locked and we’re good to go.

  • Absolutely. You'll receive high-res JPEGs ready for print, and I can either point you toward trusted archival-quality printers, or I can manage the print process if you'd like me to take care of it.

  • Every session is planned around the best light and timing for your shoot. If we decide more time is needed on the day, I’ll always do my best to accommodate it – we’ll just chat about it at the time. Please note, this may result in an additional cost.

  • Life happens – if you need to reschedule, it’s best to give me at much time as possible. I’ll always try to find another time that works but remember that your deposit is locked in when you book. If it's weather-related (for outdoor shoots), we’ll touch base ahead of time and make the call together.

  • Turnaround time is typically 2–3 weeks, depending on the scale of the shoot. I’ll always let you know what to expect, usually on the day of your shoot. If you need something urgently, just ask – I can sometimes offer a rush service.

  • Always. Whether you’ve got a Pinterest board full of ideas or just a loose vision, I’ll work with you to shape a shoot that reflects you. Collaboration is a big part of the process.
